The Rosemary Biscuit Recipe

The wonderful smell of rosemary and the delicious fragrance of freshly baked biscuits can awaken jaded senses and bring a tired mind back to life.


Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon rosemary leaves
2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
1 cup milk

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. In a mixing bowl, blend together the flour, baking powder, salt, and rosemary leaves.

2. Using a pastry blender, cut in the shortening. Blend in the milk. Roll out on a lightly floured surface and cut with biscuit cutters. Bake for 20 minutes.
